RESCONI participates in the Launch of the United for Wildlife West Africa Chapter
Resource Conservation Initiative (RESCONI) was delighted to have been part of the launch of the United for Wildlife West Africa Chapter which took place in Lagos, Nigeria from the 10th – 11th July 2024. This meeting was brought together by leading figures from the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors across West and Central Africa.
This Regional chapter seeks to combat the Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT). RESCONI with regards to this is exploring the setting up of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) that involves government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners to assist in the fight against Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT).
