Management
There is a nine-member Board of Directors which is the highest authority that exercises oversight responsibility for management operations and has responsibility for all fiduciary responsibilities and strategic directions of the organization. The Board of Directors' key purpose is to ensure the organization's success by providing strategic direction.
The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and has supervisory responsibility over the Programmes Manager. The Programmes Manager is responsible for the tactical operations of RESCONI. On financial management, RESCONI has a Finance Manager tasked to manage the financial duties of the project basically involving the management of approved budgets, expenditures and preparation of financial reports and he reports directly to the Executive Director.
Management Continued
RESCONI in executing its assignment seeks to employ state-of-the-art technology that maximizes efforts and ensures timeliness. Thus, the use of skype meetings, emails, WhatsApp and video conferencing amongst others will be employed whilst using first-class courier services by DHL whenever required. This will be in addition to the face-to-face meetings and contacts necessitated by the nature of this task.
It is worth emphasizing that RESCONI in the past has secured office space or satellite stations in the rural communities/villages to facilitate the speedy and effective management of its operations at the project sites subject to the varied needs and requirements of the project(s) in question.
